Nexus by Landlord Studio is designed to simplify Making Tax Digital for UK Landlords using letting agents to manage their rental properties. Nexus automatically retrieves your income and expenses from your letting agent's management system and presents them in a way that is easy for you to manage from a tax compliance perspective.
You must be invited by your letting agent in order to access to Nexus. Check with your letting agent to for access request. The invite is valid for 30 days. You must request a new invite from your letting agent after 30 days.
Step 1: Setup a password for your account.
Step 2: View Dashboard
Once logged in, you'll be taken to the dashboard view in Nexus. The dashboard acts as a central hub for help contents on Making Tax Digital and a brief summary of your net income and expenses extracted from your letting agent's system.
Step 3: View Properties & Transactions
Select "Properties" from the navigation menu to access a list of properties we retrieve.
Select any of the properties listed on the page to view your income and expenses.
Note: It could take up to 24 hours for your information to be pulled through after accepting the invite.
Step 3: Making Tax Digital
Select "Making Tax Digital" to view your obligations and quarterly reports. This is your main workspace for Making Tax Digital. See Intro to Making Tax Digital for more information.
