What To Do If Your Bank Feed Connection Has Expired or Hasn't Updated?

How to reconnect your bank account should it get disconnected.

Written by Louise Pike

Your bank account may become unlinked and need to be reconnected. If you are in the UK you will need to revalidate and relink your bank account once every three months for security purposes.

You can quickly and easily re-establish your connection.

Step 1: Navigate to the bank feeds feature

Step 2: Click on the account you need to reconnect.

Step 3: Select "Update" and follow the flow to reconnect.

Note: Do not click on the “Connect Additional Bank” button. Doing so will attempt to establish a new bank connection and the system will return errors with two of the same bank accounts partially connected.

If your bank feeds hasn't updated:

Generally, we suggest waiting 2 business days before opening tickets with Plaid about missing transactions.

The speed of bank feeds is dependent upon your bank and will not update during the weekend or bank holidays.

If any of the missing transactions haven't updated in Bank Feeds for over 2 business days, please reach out to our Support Team with ONE example of the missing transaction showing the following:

  1. transaction date

  2. amount and description of the transaction

  3. bank account that isn't showing up

We would need this information in order to file a report with Plaid. We only send them a request to import your transactions and the response time varies, depending on your bank.

Should you continue to have errors after going through this process please reach out to help@landlordstudio.com
