Once you've sent a document for e-signature, you can see who has signed, resend the request to anyone who hasn't, or cancel the whole request. This guide covers what each status means, how to chase or cancel a request, and where to find the final signed copy.
What you need to know
Status updates as soon as each recipient signs. You don't need to refresh.
Cancelling a request stops every recipient who hasn't signed yet. You cannot reverse a cancellation, you would need to start a new request.
The signed PDF is finalised only after every recipient has signed. Until then, only a draft view is available.
Find an e-signature request
Step 1: Open the property from your "Properties" list.
Step 2: Select the "Documents" tab, then the "Lease documents" subtab.
Step 3: Select "E-sign" on the filter toggle to hide non-e-sign documents.
Document status meanings
The status pill on each row shows where the request stands.
In progress: the request has been sent and at least one recipient has not yet signed.
Signed: every recipient has signed and the final PDF is available.
Cancelled: you (or another teammate) cancelled the request before it was completed.
Each individual recipient also has a status of To sign or Signed inside the request, so you can see exactly who is holding things up.
See who has signed and who hasn't
Step 1: Select the document row to open the request.
Landlord Studio shows the document preview on the left and an "E-sign signers" panel on the right with each recipient's name, email, and current status.
Resend the request to a recipient
Step 1: On the document row, select the three-dot menu on the right.
Step 2: Select "Re-send request".
Landlord Studio will email the original "Your Signature Is Requested for [Property Address]" message to any recipient who hasn't signed yet.
Cancel an e-signature request
Step 1: Open the request from the document row.
Step 2: Select "Cancel signature request" on the signers panel.
The status will move to "Cancelled" and any recipient who hasn't yet signed will no longer be able to use their signing link.
โ ๏ธ Cancelling cannot be undone. If you cancel by mistake, upload the document again and start a new request.
