If you signed up to Landlord Studio using your Google account, you won't have a password set for your account.
As a result, you won't be able to change your email address directly from your account settings.
To update your email address, you'll first need to create a password for your account. Once a password has been set, you can then change your email address from your account settings.
This guide will walk you through both steps.
Step 1: Request a password reset
Step 1: Click on your name shown on the upper right side of your screen at the top of your page and select Account settings.
Step 2: Set a password by selecting Change your password.
An email with instructions on how to complete a password reset will be sent to your inbox.
Note: If you don't receive the email within a few minutes, check your spam folder. If it's still missing, the email on your account may differ from what you expect, so contact support before retrying.
Step 2: Set your password
Step 1: Open the email from Landlord Studio and click the password reset link.
Step 2: Enter a new password, confirm it, and click "Save". Landlord Studio will save the password and return you to the login page.
Step 3: Change your email address
Step 1: Log in at portal.landlordstudio.com using your email address and the password you just set (Skip this step if you're logged in automatically after password reset).
Step 2: Click your name in the upper right corner, then select "Account Settings".
Step 3: Click "Change your email", enter your new email address, and confirm the change. Landlord Studio will update the email on your account.
Note: After your email is changed, sign in using the new email address and your password. The Google sign-in option will no longer connect you to your original account.
