How to Upload Documents to Your Property

Landlord Studio allows you to securely upload and store important documents related to your properties.

This feature helps you keep track of lease agreements, maintenance records, property inspections, safety certificates, and other essential property-related documents, organized and in one place.

How to Upload Documents to Your Property

1. Navigate to the Property

  • Log in to your Landlord Studio account and navigate to the property page via the left-hand menu.

  • Select the relevant property from your property list.

2. Open the Documents Section

  • Once inside the property details page, navigate to the Documents tab.

  • Click on 'Property Documents' for general property related documents like inspections, or 'Lease Documents'.

3. Upload a Document

  • Click the + New button.

  • A pop-up window will appear labeled Upload Document.

  • Drag and drop your file into the upload area or click Browse files to select a file from your device.

  • Supported file formats include PDF, XLS(X), DOC(X), PPT(X), CSV, PNG, JPG, and EML.

4. Add a Description

  • Enter a brief description of the document. This helps with organization and easy retrieval later.

5. Save the Document

  • Click Save to upload and store the document.

  • Your file will now appear in the Property Documents list with its associated details.

Managing Uploaded Documents

  • You can view, download, or delete any previously uploaded documents by selecting them from the list.

  • Click on the Preview icon to preview document.

  • To remove a document, click the Delete icon next to it.

Best Practices

  • Use clear and descriptive file names to quickly identify documents. You can search for a file based on the description.

  • Ensure that files are in supported formats for easy access.

By following these steps, you can efficiently manage and store important property-related documents within Landlord Studio, keeping your records organized and easily accessible.
