What Is the Compliance Certificate Feature?
Every rental property in the UK must meet certain safety and energy standards. To help you stay compliant, Landlord Studio allows you to upload essential certificates directly into your property’s Compliance tab.
Once uploaded, our AI will automatically extract key details including issue dates, expiry dates, reference/licence numbers, and a brief summary. Our AI will automatically populate the compliance fields for you. This means:
No more manually entering certificate details
Automatic reminders when certificates are due to expire
All compliance documentation stored in one secure place
How to Upload a Compliance Document
Navigate to the property in your account.
Click the Compliance tab along the top.
Select the document type you want to upload (EPC, Gas Safety, EICR, etc.).
Click Upload.
Choose your file (PDF or image supported).
Wait a moment while our AI extracts key details and auto-fills the fields.
Where to View and Manage Your Certificates
Uploaded certificates will appear under their respective categories in the Compliance section. From here you can:
View the original document
See extracted details
Edit information if needed
Upload updated certificates when annual/periodic renewals occur
The certificate uploaded will also appear under the Documents tab.
AI Extraction Notes
Our AI is designed to handle most EPC, CP12, and EICR formats. If a document is unclear or missing standard fields, we may not extract everything perfectly. In these cases, you can manually adjust any field.
Your uploaded documents remain secure and private according to our data policy.
