If you let property in UK, the Renters' Rights Act requires you to give qualifying tenants (started tenancy before May 1st 2026) a copy of the official Information Sheet. Landlord Studio lets you send it to multiple tenants in one go from the Tenants list. This guide covers how to bulk send it the information sheet.
What you need to know
You must provide the Information Sheet to all existing tenancies (started tenancy before May 1st 2026).
Landlord Studio sends the Information Sheet by email (Info sheet as file attachment). Tenants without an email address on file are excluded.
Landlord Studio tracks the email delivery status and can be accessed via the communications history menu (coming soon).
Sending the Renters' Rights Act Information Sheet to tenants
Step 1: From the left sidebar, open Contacts and select Tenants.
Step 2: Tick the checkbox next to each tenant you want to send the Information Sheet to. To select every tenant on the page, use the checkbox in the column header. Landlord Studio will display total number of tenants selected.
Step 3: Click Send Info sheet in the top right of the Tenants page.
Step 4: A confirmation popup appears showing the number of tenants who will receive the sheet. Review the count, then click Send to confirm, or Cancel to go back and adjust your selection.
ℹ️ Landlord Studio will email the Information Sheet to each selected tenant and record the send date against their tenant profile so you have an audit trail.
What happens if some tenants don't have an email address
Tenants must have a valid email address for the info sheet to be delivered. Tenants excluded from the bulk send still need to receive the Information Sheet. Update their email address and re-send.
Add or update a tenant's email address
Step 1: From the Tenants list, click the tenant's name to open their profile.
Step 2: Click Edit and enter or update the email address.
Step 3: Click Save.
Once the email is saved, return to the Tenants list and run the bulk send again to include them.
