Streamline The Rental Application & Tenant Screening Process

Landlord Studio offers two types of rental applications:

  • Full Rental & Screening application: A full rental application with supporting documents such as proof of income, landlord references, background questions along with a full credit report, ID Report, SSN verification, criminal history, and eviction related proceedings (state dependent) and rental history from TransUnion.

  • Screening application only: Comprehensive credit report, ID Report, SSN verification, criminal history, and eviction related proceedings (state dependent) and rental history from TransUnion. Ideal for renters who have completed an application form elsewhere.

How To Run A Rental & Screening Application

Step 1: Navigate to the leads page via the left-hand menu and click on the lead you want to collect a rental application from, or run a screening report on.

Step 2: To invite a lead to fill out an application, select "Invite to apply" at the top right of the lead details page.

Step 3: Select which type of application you would like to run.

Note: It is recommended to run a full rental & screening application as it gives you a complete picture of the applicant unless you have collected a rental application already.

Step 4: A pop-up titled “New application” will appear. Fill this out and click “Submit”.

Once the invite is sent, the lead will become an applicant and be marked with the "INVITED" status. You will be notified by email when the tenant has completed the application. Log back in to review the application and screening report.
