If there’s one piece of advice that landlords need to remember above all other advice, this is what we would say: Always take enough time to properly review rental applications before you offer to rent your properties to any tenants!

Note: Learn how to create a custom rental listing website for your property that showcases its best features to find renters and fill vacancies fast here.

Tenant screening reports will expire after 60 days due the the sensitive credit information contained in the reports. Credit information is always changing and updating so the reports will expire to protect the information contained in the report but to also avoid reporting any information that may be out of date. We recommend downloading and saving the PDF copy of screening reports in your personal storage for future reference.

Run a Tenant Screening Report on Mobile

You can start the tenant screening process using the tab on the bottom menu bar on your account dashboard.

Step 1: Tap on "Screening"

Step 2: Follow the prompts on the screen.

Note: Reports cost $40 each and can be paid by the Tenant or the Landlord. In the state of New York, the landlord must pay for the screening application. Screening applications for New York do not include eviction history.

If you pay for the tenant screening report, you will be prompted with a payment gateway. You'll need to complete the purchase to continue.

Note: You will be notified when the tenant screening report is ready by email. It normally takes around 30 minutes after the tenant has completed and submitted their information.
